Just For One Day announces West End transfer

After this show finished its record-breaking run at The Old Vic earlier this year, there were always rumours that it would transfer to the West End and this month they were finally confirmed! Just For One Day is inspired by one of the most iconic music events of the 1980s and it will be making the Shaftesbury Theatre its home from 15 May 2025.

More exciting transfer news came our way in September with the announcement of Clueless The Musical. Based on the popular Paramount Pictures classic film, Clueless is one of the most recognisable movies of the 90s. Now transferring to the stage with help from the film’s writer-director Amy Heckerling and multi-platinum singer-songwriter KT Tunstall - we can’t wait to see how this one unfolds when it opens at the Trafalgar Theatre in February!
Stephen Sondheim's final musical Here We Are announces UK premiere

The National Theatre recently announced a huge programme of work for Rufus Norris’ final season as their Artistic Director and within that was the news of Here We Are. Stephen Sondheim’s final musical will head to London next Spring and will feature Tracie Bennett and Denis O’Hare who performed in the original production on Broadway.

From the writers of SIX comes a new musical Why Am I So Single?. The show is about two platonic friends sitting on a sofa, glugging Prosecco and initially concluding that the reason their love lives are a chaotic mess, is due simply to the fact that men are trash. The respect and playfulness that runs throughout the musical will guarantee its success amongst theatregoers who love musicals and comedy genres.

Moulin Rouge The Musical, Piccadilly Theatre

Moulin Rouge The Musical is a jukebox musical to smash all jukebox musicals, with literally in excess of 70 multi-genre numbers either performed individually, as duets, or mashed-up with other pop songs performed by the whole cast. The production has been playing to packed houses since it opened in November, we went to see if it was still living up to expectations!
