The UK premiere of the Tony Award nominated hit musical featuring Mary Bridget Davies, A Night with Janis Joplin has recently begun its limited run in London.

Here's your first look at A Night with Janis Joplin which is currently playing at the Peacock Theatre.

The cast includes Mary Bridget Davies and Sharon Sexton in the title role of Janis Joplin, alongside Kalisha Amaris, Georgia Bradshaw, Choolwe Laina Muntanga and Danielle Steers as The Joplinaires.

A Night with Janis Joplin is a musical that celebrates Janis Joplin and her biggest musical influences. Exploding onto the music scene in 1967, Joplin became the Queen of Rock 'n' Roll almost overnight. The musical features Joplin's favourites including ‘Piece of My Heart,’ ‘Cry Baby’, ‘Me and Bobby McGee’ and many others.

The creative team includes a book and direction by Randy Johnson and choreography by Patricia Wilcox. Allison Coyne will be the Associate Director, with musical supervision and musical direction by Iestyn Griffiths. Casting is by Anne Vosser.

A Night with Janis Joplin will perform at the Peacock Theatre until 28 September 2024.
