The musical stage adaptation of the beloved Disney classic The Hunchback of Notre Dame is coming to London.
The concerts will take place at the Prince Edward Theatre, where MJ The Musical is currently playing, on Sunday 17 August 2025. The Hunchback of Notre Dame has music and lyrics from the 1996 animated film by Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz and additional songs written for the musical by the two Oscar winners, and a book by Peter Parnell.
Directed by Jonathan O'Boyle and with musical direction by Olivier Award-winner Alan Williams, casting is to be announced soon.
Victor Hugo's timeless tale follows Quasimodo, the deformed bell ringer of Notre Dame Cathedral, as he navigates love, prejudice, and fate. The story centers on his devotion to the kind-hearted Esmeralda and the dark obsession of the sinister Archdeacon Frollo.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame will be performed by a full orchestra, choir, and an all-star West End cast.
