Set against the political backdrop of a deeply divided society, Noughts and Crosses follows Callum and Sephy, two lifelong friends who meet secretly and come from two separate worlds. When Callum is accepted into Cross school, the prestigious school where Sephy attends, will it bring them closer, or will the hate and fear that is around them drive them apart? The novel, which was released in 2001, has echoes of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.
Noughts and Crosses will play at the Regent's Park Open Air Theatre from 28 June - 26 July 2025.
