New production images and extension announced for HADESTOWN

The Tony Award-winning musical by Anaïs Mitchell returned to London last year after it last performed at the National Theatre's Olivier Theatre and transferred onto Broadway.

New images have been released of the new cast of Hadestown.

It includes Desmonda Cathabel as Eurydice, Victoria Hamilton-Barritt as Persephone, Chris Jarman as Hades, Cedric Neal as Hermes, and Dylan Wood as Orpheus.

Melanie Bright, Allie Daniel and Lauran Rae play the Fates; Femi Akinfolarin, Michelle Andrews, Ollie Bingham, Laura Delany and Sebastian Lim-Seet play the Workers, with Lucinda Buckley, Juan Jackson, Oisín Nolan-Power, Lindo Shinda and Jasmine Triadi as Swings.

The musical also announced today that Hadestown: Teen Edition is now available for school and youth group productions in the UK and Ireland. It's another incredible milestone for the production which takes audiences on an unforgettable journey to the underworld and back. Two mythic love stories are intertwined in this musical that is both deeply resonant and defiantly hopeful.

Hadestown also announces an extension to its booking period at the Lyric Theatre with performances now playing until 15 February 2026.
