Hadestown blends American folk with New Orleans-inspired jazz in a musical that reimagines the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice and Hades and Persephone, set in a post-apocalyptic, Depression-era world. The musical has won 8 Tony Awards including 'Best New Musical'. Be swept through a deeply resonant and defiantly hopeful theatrical experience.
Hadestown is currently playing at the Lyric Theatre until 28 September 2025.
