The UK premiere of the translation by acclaimed, award-winning poet Anne Carson is set to debut in the West End early next year.

The full cast has been announced for ELEKTRA.
Previously announced in the production are Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), who will be making her West End debut, as well as internationally renowned Stockard Channing (The West Wing), Marième Diouf (Romeo and Juliet, The Globe), Greg Hicks (Grapes of Wrath, The National Theatre) and Patrick Vaill (Stranger Things: The First Shadow, Phoenix Theatre) .
Completing the cast are Hannah Bristow, Wallis Currie-Wood, Jo Goldsmith-Eteson, Nardia Ruth, Rebecca Thorn, Adeola Yemitan and Arthur Boan.
Helmed by the acclaimed director Daniel Fish, ELEKTRA will be the first major revival of Sophocles' Greek tragedy in over a decade. The play follows Elektra who seeks revenge on her mother, Clytemnestra, and her lover, Aegisthus, for the murder of her father, Agamemnon. With the return of her brother, Orestes, they conspire to avenge their father's death by killing the murderers.
Joining Daniel on the creative team are Annie-B Parson (Choreography), Jeremy Herbert (Set Design), Doey Lüthi (Costume Design), Adam Silverman (Lighting Design), Max & Ben Ringham (Sound Design), Ted Hearne (Composer) Kate Godfrey (Voice & Dialect) with casting by Heather Basten CDG.
Elektra will play at Duke of York's Theatre from 24 January 2025 for a limited 11-week season.
