The UK premiere, translated by award-winning poet Anne Carson, opens in Brighton next month before making its West End debut.

Here's our first look at the cast of Elektra in rehearsals.
The cast for Sophokles's electrifying play includes Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), who will be making her West End debut. She will be joined by Stockard Channing (The West Wing), Marième Diouf (Romeo and Juliet, The Globe), Greg Hicks (Grapes of Wrath, The National Theatre) and Patrick Vaill (Stranger Things: The First Shadow). Completing the cast are Hannah Bristow, Wallis Currie-Wood, Jo Goldsmith-Eteson, Nardia Ruth, Rebecca Thorn, Adeola Yemitan and Arthur Boan.
Directed by Daniel Fish, the production will begin performances at the Duke of York's Theatre on 24 January 2025. It will be the first major revival of the Greek tragedy in over a decade.
Joining Daniel on the creative team are Annie-B Parson (Choreography), Jeremy Herbert (Set Design), Doey Lüthi (Costume Design), Adam Silverman (Lighting Design), Max & Ben Ringham (Sound Design), Ted Hearne (Composer) Kate Godfrey (Voice & Dialect) with casting by Heather Basten CDG.
Elektra will run from 24 January through to 12 April 2025.
