Dr. Strangelove which stars seven-time BAFTA Award-winning actor Steve Coogan will be released to cinemas worldwide next year.

The play is an explosively funny and sharp satire about a rogue U.S. General who sets off a nuclear attack, plunging the world into chaos. Based on Stanley Kubrick's iconic film Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb, the production delves into the absurdities of Cold War paranoia, military bureaucracy, and human fallibility, all while offering a biting commentary on the dangers of unchecked power and the ever-present threat of global annihilation.

Joining Steve Coogan who plays four roles in this production are Giles Terera (Passing Strange, Young Vic) as General Buck Turgisdon, the company is completed by: John Hopkins as General Jack D. Ripper, Oliver Alvin-Wilson as Jefferson, Penny Ashmore as Vera Lynn, Ben Deery as General Staines, Richard Dempsey as Frank, Dharmesh Patel as Lincoln, Mark Hadfield as Faceman, Tony Jayawardena as Russian Ambassador Bakov and Ben Turner Colonel Bat Guano. Mabli Gwynne is Swing and Tom Kelsey, Daniel Norford, Adam Sina and Alex Stoll are the Ensemble.

Filmed live from the Noel Coward Theatre, Dr. Strangelove is running until 25 January 2025 and is undoubtedly one of the best plays to see in London right now.
