It may be getting colder outside but the London theatre scene is heating up this month with an exciting lineup of shows set to hit the stage.

Amongst the highlights of shows to see in October are Oedipus, a powerful reimagining of the classic Greek tragedy starring Mark Strong and Lesley Manville. Audiences can also look forward to the first performances of The Devil Wears Prada, the musical adaptation of the beloved film which will bring high fashion and sharp wit to the West End. 1. Barcelona

A captivating new thriller by Bess Wohl arrives at the West End’s Duke of York’s Theatre this month, featuring Lily Collins (Emily in Paris) and Álvaro Morte (Money Heist), as they make the exciting transition from the screen to the London stage. 2. The Buddha of Suburbia
