George is the scruffiest giant in town, a giant who dreams about looking smart. When he finds a new shop selling giant-sized clothes, he buys some smart trousers, a smart shirt, a smart stripy tie, and smart new shiny shoes. Now he’s the smartest giant in town, until he meets some animals who need his lovely new clothes even more than he does.

This is a happy, heart-warming tale about friendship and helping others in need. There’s music, puppets and plenty of fun for young audience members, another deliciously delightful production from Little Angel Theatre, whose best-selling adaptations of Julia Donaldson’s picture books also include The Singing Mermaid and The Everywhere Bear.

The story is adapted and directed by Little Angel Theatre’s artistic director Samantha Lane and the award-winning musician Barb Jungr, who has also written new music to make the production even more special. With imaginative set and costume design by Kate Bunce, amazing puppets designed by Judith Hope and exciting lighting designed by Sherry Coenen, it’s perfect to make little kids happy.
