Sleeping Beauty Takes A Prick! is the brand new, adults-only pantomime from the team behind Above The Stag Theatre’s legendary queer Christmas shows.
Journey back in time to the tiny kingdom of Slutvia, where a prince searches for the boy of his dreams at his 21st birthday ball. But when he takes a prick in the palace rose garden, he magically wakes up in a modern world where palaces are run by the National Trust and the man of your dreams is somewhere on Grindr.
Can he defeat his wicked uncle, reclaim the throne, win his man, save his mum, establish some form of primitive democracy and still find time to catch up on 30 seasons of Drag Race and the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe?

A camp romp of a pantoPanto isn't panto unless it's a little bit camp and this show goes above and beyond to slay! From sass to class the cast perform vibrant characters in a fun and engaging manner, hammering home the old familiar gags and testing our gag reflexes with some new gems! 100% recommend for all the gay boys, girls and non-binary folks.

For a brazenly adult, hugely camp (and outrageously homosexual) panto, the opening night of SLEEPING BEAUTY TAKES A PRICK! ticked and tickled every stereotypical box. In fact the only thing which would have made it camper, would have been if Dame Joan Collins herself were to turn-up in the audience — and poof, as if by magic, there she was, rubbing shoulder-pads with 80s pop stars Mike Nolan and Cheryl Baker from Bucks Fizz. You really can’t make this stuff up!
