Weather Girl will transfer to Soho Theatre for a limited run next year.
Starring Off-Broadway star Julia McDermott who will reprise her role in the rollercoaster ride of rage and revelation is by Brian Watkins (Outer Range, Amazon) and will be directed by Tyne Rafaeli (Fleabag).
One of hottest tickets at the summer's Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Weather Girl centres on Stacey, a California weather girl. She's an oversexed and underpaid harbinger of our dying planet. But today, her regular routine of wildfires, prosecco and teeth whitening descends into a scorched earth catastrophe before she discovers something that will save us all.
The creative team also includes set and lightning designer Isabella Byrd (Cabaret, West End), Rachel Dainer-Best (Outer Range, Amazon) as costume designer and sound designer Kieran Lucas (My Name is Rachel Corrie, Young Vic).
Weather Girl will play at Soho Theatre from 5 March - 5 April 2025
