Due to popular demand, Vardy V Rooney: The Wagatha Christie Trial has scored a limited run at the Ambassador’s Theatre next year.
Following its recent sold-out run at the Wyndham's Theatre, it will run from 6 April till 20 May 2023 at the Ambassador’s Theatre.

Adapted from the week-long court case of Rebekah Vardy and Coleen Rooney, the show reveals the drama going inside the courtroom and beyond the headlines. From super-sleuth sting operations to social media trolling, audiences will see first-hand a verbatim court transcript brought to life.

This unique moment in British media history captivated the country but while public debate raged, only a handful of people witnessed what happened in the trial. Now audiences can watch the intrigue and intricacies of the case live on stage in the West End.
Since opening at the Wyndham’s Theatre on 15 November, Vardy V Rooney: The Wagatha Christie Trial has performed to packed audiences. Its final four sold-out performances at the Wyndham’s Theatre will take place on the 6, 13 and 20 December, as well as the 10 January.
Who’s involved in Vardy V Rooney: The Wagatha Christie Trial?
Adapted by Liv Hennessy (finalist in the Paines Plough’s Women’s Prize for Playwriting), the show has been directed by the Artistic Director of Theatre503, Lisa Spirling. The assistant director is Lizzie Manwaring.
The production has been designed by Polly Sullivan, lighting by Ben Bull, with composition and sound design by Richard Hammarton.
