Who’s involved in Tina – The Tina Turner Musical?
This critically acclaimed production is inspired by the life and times of the legendary Tina Turner. Produced in association with the artist Tina Turner herself, it premiered in spring 2018 in London and broke all Box Office records at the Aldwych. Aisha Jawando, who has been playing Tina's sister Alline Bullock since 2018, shares the lead role with Chanel Haynes and Jammy Kasongo, another original cast member, now plays Ike.

About the Aldwych Theatre
Seating 1200 people over three levels, the Aldwych Theatre is one of a twin-set of venues. It was built as one of a pair and opened in 1905, along with its sister theatre the Novello, originally called the Waldorf Theatre. 1949 saw Laurence Olivier directing the first ever London production of the Tennesee Williams classic, A Streetcar Named Desire. Past shows at the Aldwych Theatre include Beautiful – The Carole King Musical, Fame The Musical, Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story on Stage, and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Stephen Ward.
