The new production of William Shakespeare's play opens in the West End next month as part of an exciting season of work.

Rehearsal images have been released for The Tempest.
The Tempest by William Shakespeare is a tale of magic, betrayal, and reconciliation, set on a remote island where the exiled Duke Prospero uses his sorcery to orchestrate events.
The cast includes Sigourney Weaver as Prospero, who is joined by Jude Akuwudike as Alonso, Jason Barnett as Stephano, Selina Cadell as Gonzalo, Mathew Horne as Trinculo, Mara Huf as Miranda, Forbes Masson as Caliban, Mason Alexander Park as Ariel, James Phoon as Ferdinand, Oliver Ryan as Sebastian and Tim Steed as Antonio, with understudies Robin Berry, Öncel Camci, Claire Lacey, Anna María, Phillip Olagoke and Joe Rawlinson-Hunt completing the cast.
Directed by Jamie Lloyd, the production opens at Theatre Royal Drury Lane on 7 December 2024 where it will run until 1 February 2025. It will be followed by Much Ado About Nothing starring Tom Hiddleston (Benedick) and Hayley Atwell (Beatrice) from 10 February - 5 April 2025.
