Mel Brooks' The Producers will transfer to the West End this autumn.

Andy Nyman (Fiddler on the Roof), Marc Antolin (The Band’s Visit, Donmar Warehouse), Trevor Ashley (Liza (on an E)), Raj Ghatak (The Father and the Assassin, National Theatre), Harry Morrison (Come from Away, Phoenix Theatre/Abbey Theatre) and Joanna Woodward (The Time Traveller’s Wife: The Musical, Apollo Theatre) will reprise their roles from the original Menier run. Further cast will be announced

With a book by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan and music&lyrics by Mel Brooks, The Producers is a musical comedy about a down-and-out Broadway producer and his nervous accountant who scheme to get rich by creating a surefire flop. Their plan backfires when their disastrously offensive show, Springtime for Hitler, becomes an unexpected hit. Based on the classic cult film, the original Broadway production won a record twelve Tony Awards. It came to London for the first time over the festive period since 2004.

The Producers will run at the Garrick Theatre from 30 August 2025 - 21 February 2026. It will follow Mrs Warren's Profession which stars Imelda Staunton and her daughter Bessie Carter.
