Here's our first look at the sold-out run of The Producers at the Menier Chocolate Factory.

Tony Award-winning director Patrick Marber directs the cast which includes Andy Nyman, Marc Antolin, Harry Morrison, Joanna Woodward, Trevor Ashley (Les Miserables, Australia) and Raj Ghatak (The Father and the Assassin, National Theatre). They are joined by Jermaine Woods, Nolan Edwards, Charis Alexandra, Michael Franks, Matt Gillett, Leah Harris, Hana Ichijo, Esme Kennedy, Josh Kiernan, Alex Lodge, Kelsie-Rae Marshall, and Chloe Saunders.

The creative team for The Producers includes choreographer Lorin Latarro, set designer Scott Pask, costume designer Paul Farnsworth, lighting designer Richard Howell, sound designer Niamh Gaffney and Terry Jardine for Autograph, musical supervisor Gareth Valentine, musical director Matthew Samer and orchestrations by Larry Blank and Mark Cumberland.

The Producers is about a down-on-his-luck Broadway producer and his timid accountant who scheme to get rich by staging a deliberately terrible show that they plan to flop. However, their plan backfires when their offensive production, Springtime for Hitler, becomes an unexpected hit. This musical is a hit with audiences for its brilliant mix of satire and heart, showcasing Mel Brooks' genius for turning absurdity into comedy gold.

The Producers will run at the Menier Chocolate Factory until 1 March 2025.
