THE COMEDY OF ERRORS, which is at the iconic Shakespeare's Globe this summer, has announced its full cast.
Running between 12 May - 29 July, the production forms part of the Globe's 400th anniversary celebrations.
The cast of The Comedy of Errors are:
- Claire Benedict (Moon on a Rainbow Shawl) as Abbess. This is her debut season at Shakespeare’s Globe
- Matthew Broome (Scandaltown) as Antipholus of Ephesus
- Philip Cumbus (The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui) as Duke / Pinch
- Michael Elcock (Hex) as Antipholus of Syracuse
- George Fouracres (Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared) as Dromio of Ephesus
- Laura Hanna (Heartstopper) as Adriana
- Hari MacKinnon (Staged) as Angelo
- Jordan Metcalfe (Accidental Death of an Anarchist) as Dromio of Syracuse
- Phoebe Naughton (The Wonderful World of Dissocia) as Courtesan / First Merchant / Balthazar
- Danielle Phillips (The Upstart Crow) as Luce / Second Merchant / Messenger
- Paul Rider (Dangerous Liaisons) as Egeon
- Jessica Whitehurst (Nine Night) as Luciana. This is Jessica's professional debut at Shakespeare’s Globe.

Directed by the Globe's Associate Artistic Director Sean Holmes, Shakespeare's iconic comedy follows the journey of long-lost siblings who are faced with mistaken identities. As the chaos unravels, families are thrown into a glorious madcap comedy plot.
