A new cast is heading into the London production of Stranger Things: The First Shadow later this year.
From 14 November, Louis Healy (The Full Monty, UK Tour) will take over the role of Henry Creel with Callum Maxwell (Peter Pan, Gate Theatre) as Bob Newby, Miranda Mufema (Romeo and Juliet, Brighton Festival) as Patty Newby, Luke Mullins (The Tempest, Theatre Roya Bath) as Dr Brenner, Jessica Rhodes (The Tempest, Royal Shakespeare Theatre) as Joyce Maldonado and George Smale (AS-Nt, Theatre 503) as James Hopper Jr. The full cast is to be announced.
Directed by Stephen Daldry, Stranger Things: The First Shadow is a prequel to the hit Netflix series, set in 1959 in the town of Hawkins, Indiana. Follow a young Jump Hopper, Joyce Byers, and Bob Newby as they navigate mysterious occurrences that foreshadow the dark events that come in the TV series. The show allows audiences to delve into the origins of the Upside Down and the eerie forces that will later haunt the town.
Stranger Things: The First Shadow is booking at the Phoenix Theatre until 6 April 2025.
