Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù will lead the production of Rhinoceros at the Almeida Theatre next year.

Set in a small French town, the play begins with Jean meeting his friend Berenger for a drink. Their routine day takes a bizarre twist when a rhinoceros charges through the town square. Chaos escalates as one resident transforms into the very creature everyone feared, sparking an epidemic that spreads rapidly and turns their world upside down.
The creative team also includes Set and Costume Designer: Ana Inés Jabares-Pita; Lighting Designer: Jackie Shemesh; Sound Designer: Elena Peña; and Casting Director: Amy Ball CDG.
Rhinoceros will play at the Almeida Theatre from 25 March - 26 April 2025.
