Releasing on April 3rd under the 6 Music Label, ‘My Girls’ is an anthem to female friendship, inspired by the bond between the seven actresses. It also celebrates the release of Six the Musical Live!, which was directed for film by Liz Clare at the Vaudeville Theatre and opens in cinemas nationwide on 6th April.

‘My Girls’ had its first public listen at the film’s premiere at Ham Yard Hotel on March 31st. Producer Andy Barnes described it as “a track that celebrates everything these seven extraordinary women have shared together on and off stage.”

SIX is the reimagined story and ‘histo-remix’ of Henry VIII’s six wives, who take to the stage to tell their stories their way and reclaim the narrative of ‘divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived’.It’s a sassy, bombastic celebration of feminine power, and ‘My Girls’ is every bit as empowering and joyful as the musical’s other memorable, chart-topping numbers.

Winner of two Tony Awards and nominated for five Oliviers, SIX has been running at the Vaudeville Theatre on the West End since 2019 and will continue its run until 2026. It’s also playing at the Lena Horne Theatre on Broadway, and touring across the UK, the US, and worldwide.
