Here's your first look at Rob Madge in Buyer & Cellar which opens at London's King's Head Theatre from 18 September.
This production is an outrageous comedy about the price of fame, the cost of things, and the oddest of odd jobs. Following its run in London, Buyer & Cellar will play for a week at The Drum, Theatre Royal Plymouth from 29 October - 2 November.
Kirk Jameson directs Rob Madge (My Son's A Queer (But What Can You Do?))in this one-person show about an out-of-work actor who finds himself working beneath Barbra Streisand's Malibu home in her legendary basement shopping mall.
The creative team also features scenographer Ingrid Hu (Song From Far Away), lighting design by Jack Weir (To Wong Foo The Musical), composition and sound design by Emily Rose Simons (Miss Julie), wig design by Craig Forrest-Thomas (Hairspray) and stage management by Rosie Morgan (The Artist).
Buyer & Cellar will run at the King's Head Theatre from 18 September - 2 November 2024.
