Pete Townshend's Quadrophenia was a multi-million-selling album in the 1970s and even inspired a cult classic feature film of the same name. Now, it premieres as an explosive new dance production, with a London run announced for the summer.

The cast has been announced for the world premiere of Quadrophenia, a Mod Ballet.
The production invites audiences into the turbulent world of troubled mod Jimmy, staying true to the spirit of the beloved original. Set against the vibrant backdrop of the 1960s, the show bursts to life with sharp suits, soul music, Vespas, and parkas. Themes of lost youth, rebellion, the search for belonging, and the desire for social change remain as powerful and relevant today as ever.
Rising star Paris Fitzpatrick will lead the production as Jimmy. The role of Mod Girl will be shared by Serena McCall and Taela Yeomans-Brown with Dan Baines as Ace Face.
The rest of the company announced today includes, in alphabetical order, Curtis Angus, Jonathon Luke Baker, Will Bozier, Anya Ferdinand, Euan Garrett, Seirian Griffiths, Georges Hann, Tia May Hockey, Dylan Jones, Stuart Neal, Joshua Nkemdilim, Zach Parkin, Amaris Pearl-Gillies, Yasset Roldan, Sam Salter, Pam Pam Sapchartanan, and Kate Tydman.
Further cast members who will make up the rest of the company are yet to be announced.
Rachel Fuller and Martin Batchelar's orchestral arrangement of the album has been recorded by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to provide a backdrop for this brand new production. The creative team includes choreographer Paul Roberts and Director Rob Ashford, with assistant choreographer Liam Riddick. Quadrophenia, a Mod Ballet will contain original costumes by renowned British fashion house Paul Smith and Natalie Pryce, costume styling by Hannah Teare, set design by Christopher Oram, projection by yeastculture and lighting design by Fabiana Piccioli.
Quadrophenia, a Mod Ballet will play at the Sadler's Wells Theatre from 24 June - 13 July 2025.
