The production which heads to London following a critically acclaimed and sell-out run at the Nottingham Playhouse earlier this year, opens in March 2025.

The latest five-star production from the Olivier Award-winning playwright James Graham (Dear England) has announced it's extending its run before it even opens!
Based on the powerful and moving memoir Right from Wrong by Jacob Dunne, Punch follows what happens to the teenager when one fateful evening, an impulsive punch leads to fatal consequences. It's an extraordinary true story of tragedy, forgiveness, redemption and reform.
Original cast members Julie Hesmondhalgh (Coronation Street), Tony Hirst (Coronation Street) and David Shields (Masters of the Air) reprise their roles as Joan, David and Jacob, respectively. They will be joined by Alec Boaden (Masters of the Air) as Raf, DS Villiers and Sam; Shalisha James-Davis (Mary Queen of Scots) as Clare and Nicola; and Emma Pallant (Cowbois)as Wendy, Sandra and Jacob’s Mum.
The creative team is completed by Lighting Designer Robbie Butler, Sound Designer and Composer Alexandra Faye Braithwaite, Movement Director Leanne Pinder, Movement Consultant Lynne Page, Casting by Christopher Worrall CDG, Voice and Dialect Coaching by Sally Hague, Fight Direction by Kev McCurdy, Production Consultation by Jacob Dunne.
Punch will play at Young Vic Theatre from 1 March - 26 April 2025.
