Update for Prima Facie at the Harold Pinter Theatre
Jodie Comer, the Emmy and Bafta Award-winning star of BBC’s Killing Eve, also made waves playing roles in Free Guy and The Last Duel. Now this remarkable actress will make her West End stage debut in the UK premiere of Suzie Miller’s award-winning Prima Facie. She plays Tessa in a hard-to-resist one-person play that takes us to the uncomfortable place where emotion and experience clash with the rules, and it’s on at the Harold Pinter Theatre from 15th April 2022.
Who’s involved in Prima Facie?
Jodie Comer plays Tessa, a brilliant young barrister to whom victory is everything. Having worked her way up from working class origins to a place at the top of her game, she adores the drama of prosecuting, cross examining, and revealing the truth in every case. But when a surprise event forces her to confront the patriarchal power of the law, things begin to unravel. The resulting emotional drama is simply wonderful, seriously clever stuff and tremendously entertaining.
