Owain Arthur will play the role of Nathan Detroit in Nicholas Hytner's critically acclaimed immersive production of GUYS AND DOLLS.

Owain Arthur will have his first performance on 17 July 2023 replacing Daniel Mays, who will return to the role on 16 October.

Arthur joins the cast which comprises of Cedric Neal, Andrew Richardson, Celine Schoenmaker, and Marisha Wallace. Also appearing are Jordan Castle, Cornelius Clarke, Cameron Johnson, Anthony O'Donnell, Mark Oxtoby, Ryan Pidgen, and Katy Scombe.
Completing the cast are Iroy Abesamis, Simon Anthony, Lydia Bannister, Kathryn Barnes, Callum Bell, Cindy Belliot, Petrelle Dias, Ike Fallon, Leslie Garcia Bowman, George Ioannides, Robbie McMillan, Perry O’Dea, James Revell, Charlotte Scott, Tinovimbanashe Sibanda, Isabel Snaas, Sasha Wareham and Dale White in the ensemble.
What is GUYS AND DOLLS about?
This musical tells the overlapping stories of high-roller Sky Masterson, who falls in love with mission worker Sarah Brown, and lovable rapscallion Nathan Detroit, engaged for 14 years to Miss Adelaide, a headliner at the Hot Box Club. The show premiered on Broadway back in 1950 and won the Tony Award for Best Musical. Over the years GUYS AND DOLLShas had several Broadway and London revivals. The production at The Bridge is the first time the musical has been in the West End since 2015.
