The production recently unveiled its brand-new cast for The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical, bringing fresh energy to the beloved stage adaptation which premiered in London last November.

The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical is currently playing at The Other Palace until 31 August 2025 with plans for a UK tour announced last week.
Leading the cast in the title role is Morgan Gregory (Back to the Future) who previously took on the role of Understudy Percy Jackson. He is joined by fellow returning cast members Paisley Billings (SIX), Philip Catchpole (The Book of Mormon) and Alex Waxman.
New cast members of the production include Lizzy-Rose Esin-Kelly (Frozen The Musical), Angus Benstead, Jazz Evans (Spamalot), Joshua Lay (A Chorus Line) as Mr D, Kenedy Small (SIX), Xander Pang (Dear Evan Hanson South East Asian premiere). Completing the ensemble is Owen Lloyd (Girl from the North Country) and Rachel Moran (Just For One Day).
The London premiere followed two US tours, an Off-Broadway run in 2017 and a 16-week limited run on Broadway in 2019. The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical follows Percy Jackson, a teenager who discovers he is a demigod and the son of Poseidon. Tasked with preventing a war among the Greek gods, Percy embarks on an epic adventure filled with danger, friendship, and self-discovery.
