New casting has been announced for the West End transfer of the critically acclaimed and Olivier-award winning production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's OKLAHOMA!
Reimagined for the stage by Daniel Fish, the production played a sold-out run at the Young Vic last year before its transfer to the West End. Arthur Darvill won the Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical, and Patrick Vaill won the Evening Standard Award for Best Musical Performance.
Today (13 June) Eva Price, Sonia Friedman Productions, and Michael Harrison in association with the Young Vic Theatre have announced new casting.
Joining the cast from 3 July are:
- Sam Palladio (Nashville, ABC) as Curly McLain
- Lizzie Wofford (Phantom of the Opera) as Gertie.
They join the company alongside James Patrick Davis, Stavros Demetraki, Greg Hicks, David King-Yombo, Anoushka Lucas, Marie-Astrid Mence, Paige Peddie, Sally Ann Triplett, Andrew Berlin, Anna-Maria de Freitas, George Maddison, Brianna Ogunbawo, Finlay Paul and Helen K Wint.
