New cast of 2:22 - A GHOST STORY announced

The fifth cast has been announced for the next West End run of 2:22 - A GHOST STORY at the Apollo Theatre.

Performing from 14 May, the new cast are Sophia Bush, Ricky Champ, Clifford Samuel and Jaime Winstone.

Within a two-year period, 2:22 A Ghost Story has transferred more times than any other West End play. The new cast are:

  • Sophia Bush (One Tree Hill) as Lauren
  • Ricky Champ (Eastenders) as Ben
  • Clifford Samuel (McMafia) as Dan
  • Jaime Winstone (Kidulthood) as Jenny.

The current cast will play at the Lyric Theatre until 23 April, before the next transfer begins at the Apollo Theatre. Directed by Matthew Dunster, the show currently stars Cheryl as Jenny, Jake Wood as Ben, Scott Karim as Sam and Louise Ford as Lauren. It has now broken the record for box office weekly takings for a play 5 times!

The show centres around Jenny and her husband Sam, as they throw a dinner party with their friend Lauren and her new partner, Ben. Jenny thinks she's living in a haunted house, and while Sam disagrees, they decide to stay up until 2.22am to find out what's behind the strange goings-on.

Intriguing, funny and scary, it takes audiences into one adrenaline-fueled night where secrets will emerge and ghosts may appear. What do you believe? And do you dare to discover the truth?
