About the London Coliseum

The London Coliseum is named after a ‘coliseum’, the Roman word for a large amphitheatre for public sporting events, entertainment and assemblies. The venue enjoys the widest proscenium arch in the capital at 55 feet wide and 34 feet high, and the stage itself is 80 feet wide. The venue was built with a three-ring revolving stage measuring 75 feet across, but it was barely ever used. Past shows at the London Coliseum include The English National Ballet’s Nutcracker, and The Ballet Icons Gala.
