Retrograde, Apollo Theatre

Written by Ryan Calais Cameron (For Black Boys..) and directed by the Kiln Theatre's Artistic Director Amit Sharma, Retrograde makes its West End debut this month. Retrograde is a tense and thought-provoking drama set in 1950s Hollywood, exploring themes of race, power, and artistic integrity. It follows Black screenwriter Sidney Poitier as he faces a life-changing decision that could define his career amid the oppressive backdrop of McCarthy-era America.

Written and directed by Robert Icke, this new production recounts the gripping story of Raoul Moat, the central figure in one of the most notorious manhunts of the century.
