Directed by Tony and Olivier Award-Winner Matthew Warchus, the cast includes J. Set in Dublin in 1922, Juno and the Paycock follows Juno Boyle, a resilient matriarch who lives in a cramped tenement flat. As the Irish Civil War tears the country apart, Boyle fights to hold her struggling family together. Her husband, 'Captain' Jack Boyle, deludes himself with grand tales of adventures but rarely ventures further than the local pub. When unexpected fortune arrives with the promise of a better life, could their hardships finally end?
Juno and the Paycock will play at the Gielgud Theatre until 23 November 2024.
