Update for Hamilton at the Victoria Palace Theatre
This awesomely good Olivier, Tony and Grammy award winner took to the London stage for the first time in at the beautifully-restored Victoria Palace Theatre during late 2017, where it thrilled us until the first lockdown. Now the producers Jeffrey Seller and Cameron Mackintosh are pleased to welcome the show back, with a cast to be announced soon.
As Cameron Mackintosh said: "The last year has been unbelievably hard for everyone but particularly so for the Theatre profession. I have been moved and inspired by the resilience and camaraderie of so many practitioners from all aspects of our industry who have taken on any job so that they and their families could survive. I am therefore delighted to announce that our wonderful company will be back in The Room Where It Happens from 19 August at the Victoria Palace Theatre, now that the Prime Minister has told us that we are on track to reopen "cautiously but irreversibly" this summer. No need to Wait For It any longer!"

About the Victoria Palace Theatre
The Victoria Palace Theatre is on Victoria Street itself, in the City of Westminster, right opposite Victoria railway station. It started off as a small concert room above stables at the Royal Standard Hotel, demolished in 1886 and rebuilt the same year. The current building was erected in 1911 and once had a sliding roof to cool down the auditorium during intervals. Past shows at the Victoria Palace Theatre include Buddy, Jolson, and Billy Elliott the Musical.
