Directed by Luke Fredericks (The Country Wife, Southwark Playhouse), Gay Pride And No Prejudice will run from 8 October - 2 November 2024.

The new show tells the story of two men and one woman's struggle for acceptance in an era when the few retained the right to judge the many. Set in 1812, Darcy has loved Bingley since their childhood, a bond that has deepened into a dangerous desire he fears to confess. In an attempt to conform to society's rigid norms, Bingley courts Jane Bennet, whilst Darcy suffers in silence and clashes with their outspoken sister, Elizabeth.

A fierce advocate for gender equality, Lizzie views soften as she discovers his support for women's rights. Bingley will have to choose between societal expectations and his true feelings.

Gay Pride and No Prejudice will star Sophie Bloor (In The Dark, BBC) as Elizabeth Bennet, Sophie Bradley (All Of Us, National Theatre), Michael Gillette (Jekyll & Hyde, Union Theatre), Noah Butt (Things I Know To Be True) as Bingley, Marianne March (Hard Times, Netflix) as Mrs. Bennet and David Kerby-Kendall (Abigail's Party) as Mr.Bennet.
