Presented by the Olivier Award-winning producers of Fleabag and Baby Reindeer, An Oak Tree arrives in London to celebrate its 20th anniversary next month.

Additional names announced today for An Oak Tree include Alfred Enoch (How to Get Away With Murder), Lorraine Ashbourne (Alma’s Not Normal), Eddie Marsan (Vera Drake), Nina Sosanya (Baby Reindeer), Meera Syal (A Tupperware of Ashes) and David Tennant (Dr Who).
They join the previously announced guests, which included Mark Gatiss (The League of Gentlemen), Julie Hesmondhalgh (Punch) and Russell Tovey (Being Human). Audiences will only have their guest artist revealed live on the night as they join Tim on stage.
Written, performed and co-directed by Crouch, the play will feature a different guest artist in every performance. They haven't seen or read the play before they enter the space. It's hailed as a bold, comic, and profoundly moving story of loss, suggestion and the power of the mind. An Oak Tree has featured over 350 different guests since it premiered in 2005.
An Oak Tree will play at the Young Vic from 6 - 24 May 2025. It follows Punch, which completes its run on 12th April ahead of a West End transfer planned for later this year.
