Figaro: An Original Musical is a captivating tale that weaves love, ambition, and mystery. It follows Sienna, a spirited young woman longing to break free from the confines of her father’s farm and pursue her dream of singing. Her life takes a dramatic turn when she crosses paths with two young orphans, leading her to join a troupe of travelling performers. Among them is the enigmatic and charming Figaro, who promises to make her dreams a reality—at a cost. As Sienna’s journey unfolds, she is swept into a world of passion and intrigue, facing unexpected challenges and revelations. With every twist and turn, her path builds toward a life-altering moment that will define her destiny.
Completing the full line up is Coronation Street’s Daniel Brocklebank as Antonio, Ava Brennan (Hamilton, Les Miserables, Lion King) as Gia and Cian Service-Eagle (Oliver, Les Miserables, The Witches) as Gianni.
They join the previously announced Jon Robyns (The Phantom of the Opera) who will play the title role of Figaro, Aimie Atkinson (Six: The Musical) who plays Lucia and Cayleigh Capaldi who will make her West End debut as Sienna.
Sophia Goodman (Matilda the Musical) will play Amelia and Maggie Solimine will make her West End debut in the roles of Ensemble/Standby. Casting is by Harry Blumenau.
The creative team for the world premiere includes choreographer Jo Goodwin (My Fair Lady), musical director Caitlin Morgan (Six: The Musical),costume designer Sophia Pardon (The Wizard of Oz), set designer Justin Williams (Your Lie In April), lighting designer Alex Musgrave (The White Factory).
Figaro: An Original Musical will play at the London Palladium on the 3 & 4 February 2025.
