The cast has been announced for Fantastically Great Women Who Changed The World which begins performances on 20 July.
Uplifted from the pages of Kate Pankhurst's beloved book, Fantastically Great Women Who Changed The World heads to the stage this summer. Celebrate historic women and their achievements to a soundtrack of uplifting pop songs - with real-life heroines and pioneers spotlighted along the way.
Returning to the show following its successful winter 2024 are Georgina Grant-Anderson (David Walliams' Demon Dentist, UK Tour) as heroine Jade and Elena Breschi (Kindertransport, Nottingham Playhouse). Joining them are Meg Hateley (Mamma Mia!, Novello Theatre), Charlotte Jaconelli (Sunset Boulevard, Savoy Theatre), Anelisa Lamola (Once on This Island, Regent's Park Open Air Theatre) and Aaliyah Monk (School of Rock, Gillian Lynne Theatre).
Also returning to the show are swings Summer Priest (Heathers The Musical, UK Tour) and Rachel Seirian (Everybody's Talking about Jamie, Apollo Theatre) who is also Assistant Choreographer.
The creative team includes Oliver Award-winning dramatist Chris Bush (Standing at the Sky's Edge), with music by UK No.1 hit songwriter Miranda Cooper and Jennifer Decilveo, and live arrangements by Jen Green. The director is Amy Hodge, designer Joanna Scotcher, choreographer Danielle ‘Rhimes’ Lecointe, musical supervisor and musical director Audra Cramer,lighting designer Zoe Spurr, sound designer Carolyn Downing and co-sound designer Rob Bettle.
