Lila Raicek's new play, inspired by Ibsen, will feature McGregor in his first London stage appearance in 17 years.

Ewan McGregor is to take to the London stage in the world premiere of My Master Builder in 2025.
Reuniting him with director Michael Grandage following their previous collaboration on productions at the Donmar Warehouse. My Master Builder will run at the Wyndham's Theatre from 17 April 2025.
Set on the eve of Independence Day in the Hamptons, My Master Builder tells the story of Elena Solness, a powerful publishing magnate, and her architect husband, Henry Solness. Their marriage is disrupted by the arrival of Mathilde, a former student of Henry's with whom he once shared a connection. The play delves into themes of love and vulnerability, drawing inspiration from Ibsen's works.

The creative team will include set and costume design by Richard Kent and composer and sound design by Adam Cork.
My Master Builder will play at Wyndham's Theatre from 17 April to 12 July 2025.
