With The Perfect American, modern master Philip Glass has created a strange, beautiful meditation on the last days of Walt Disney, spectacularly staged by Sydney Olympics designer Dan Potra.
The story of a troubled writer’s impossible passion for a fellow hotel guest amid an epidemic, Deborah Warner’s production of Britten’s Death In Venice celebrates the composer’s centenary and confirms the ENO as the leading producer of his work.
