Directed by Aditya Chopra, the film's original director, Come Fall in Love will be adapted from the beloved hit romantic comedy-film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, also known as DDLJ.

Come Fall in Love tells the story of Simran, a young British Indian woman with her future meticulously planned: an arranged marriage to a family friend in India. However, when she persuades her strict father to let her spend a summer of freedom and fun in Europe, her plans take an unexpected turn. There, she meets Roger, a charming Brit with a heart of gold, and falls deeply in love. Now, Simran faces a dilemma: Can she honour her heritage while following her heart? And can Roger win over her traditional father?

The production will feature 18 all-new songs by Indian composers Vishal Dadlani and Sheykhar Ravjiani. The creative team also includes book and lyrics by Nell Benjamin (Mean Girls), choreographer Rob Ashford (Frozen), Associate Choreography – Indian Dances by Shruti Merchant (Ladies vs. Ricky Bahl), Set Design by Derek McLane (Moulin Rouge! The Musical) and Casting by David Grindrod CDG for Grindrod Burton Casting.

Further information on the venue, dates and cast will be announced soon.
