There’s going to be quite a line up of top West End related material for you to live stream this Christmas.
Personally I’m not a fan of watching or making online content but even I’m looking forward to being able to enjoy the Old Vic’s Christmas Carol, starring Andrew Lincoln, and Imelda Staunton in the Donmar’s “Looking a Lot Like Christmas” concert.
Also competing for your attention will be an online holiday show from the Globe Theatre. We haven’t heard much from them since Covid shut them down, despite their very healthy finances.
The production’s called “Christmas at the (Snow) Globe” and the pre-publicity breathlessly describes it as follows -

The recent lock down had given the West End’s musical theatre stars a chance to polish up their cabaret acts and two companies have announced a stellar line up of top talent who’ll be displaying their virtuosity.
