Cast and creatives announced for KING OF PANGEA at the King's Head Theatre

The full cast and creative team have been announced for the world premiere of Martin Storrow’s new musical, King of Pangea, which will run at the King’s Head Theatre from June 7th until July 6th, directed by Richard Israel.

Inspired by Mark Storrow's real life experiences, this original musical follows Sam Crow, who is grappling with the loss of his mother, which leads him to the imaginary island of his childhood, Pangea. Here he encounters a blend of colourful characters as he sets off on a journey of self-discovery and hope.

The cast includes Dan Burton (Chicago, Gypsy) as Arthur Crow/Captain, Mark Curry (Wicked) as Elijah, Sophia Ragavelas (Les Misérables, Mamma Mia) as Celia Crow, Emily Tang (Aladdin, House of Cleopatra) as Amy/Maya, and Alfie Blackwell will be making his professional debut as Sam Crow.

The creative team includes Anthony Lucca as Musical Supervisor, Jordan Paul Clarke as Musical Director, Tinovimbanashe Sibanda as Movement Director, Catja Hamilton as Lighting Designer, Yvonne Gilbert as Sound Designer, Nicholas Hockaday as Casting Director, Molly Fraser as Costume Supervisor, Miranda Middleton as Associate Director, Daniel Steward as Production Manager, and Louis Ling as Children’s Manager.

Richard Israel says about the casting, “This is an extraordinary cast of actors, and we can't wait to begin the journey with them”.
