Who’s involved in Aspects of Love
Michael Ball is thrilled at the prospect. As he said, "Aspects of Love holds a very special place in my heart. I am absolutely delighted to revisit Andrew Lloyd Webber's glorious score in a re-imagined chamber production in the West End from May next year. I am so happy to be collaborating again with the brilliant director Jonathan Kent who was so inspiring when we worked together on Sweeney Todd".
- Michael Ball stars – will he be singing his favourite tune from the show, Love Changes Everything? Like the rest of the detail, it’s yet to be confirmed. We’ll announce more news as soon as we hear it
- This musical is so relevant to today’s emotional landscape. The aspects of love in the title describe the many forms love can take including couples, romantic infatuation, marriage, children and their parents, and hints of same-sex love

- The plot examines the romantic entanglements of actress Rose Vibert, her admiring fan Alex Dillingham, his underage cousin Jenny, his uncle George, and George's mistress, sculptor Giulietta Trapani, over a timescale of 17 years
- Lloyd Webber first discovered Aspects of Love in 1979, when he and Tim Rice were approached to write songs for a movie version. Nothing happened. He later suggested a stage collaboration to Trevor Nunn, and in 1983 they presented a few songs they’d written. Five years later the show finally started to come together, and the rest is history
- A total of 21 songs in Act 1 and 25 in Act 2 make it a magical experience, a real Lloyd-Webber classic brought back to sizzling life for 2022
