Michael Harrison And David Ian are delighted to present a huge treat for 2020 in the shape of the World Premiere of My Best Friend’s Wedding the Musical, starring Alexandra Burke as Julianne Potter.

The book comes from Ronald Bass - also responsible for the screenplay - and Jonathan Harvey. It's inspired by the wonderful film from Tristar Pictures and stars the magical songs of Burt Bacharach and Hal David. The show's directed by Rachel Kavanaugh and it will be transferring to the West End following a comprehensive tour of the UK and Ireland.

The book's writer Ronald Bass also wrote Rain Man and The Joy Luck Club. The writer Jonathan Harvey is responsible for Beautiful Thing, Gimme Gimme Gimme, and Coronation Street. Our very own Alexandra Burke absolutely smashed the role of Rachel Marron in The Bodyguard the Musical and proved a massive hit on the TV talent show X-Factor. She's also the lady whose debut and number one single 'Hallelujah', written by Jeff Buckley, sold more than a million in the UK, breaking the record for a UK female solo singer. She's an amazing dancer, having reached the final of Strictly Come Dancing in 2017, as well as a seriously good actor who has delighted critics and audiences on the national tour of Sister Act the Musical.
