This is the first stage adaptation of Steven Antin’s gorgeous musical sensation. First, there was an extraordinary sold-out run at Manchester Opera House, followed by a run in Glasgow before returning to Manchester, and after that, it’s heading for a well-deserved West End transfer.

The Burlesque The Musical cast and creative team

Burlesque is written by Steven Antin with additional material by Kate Wetherhead. The show contains tunes by Christina Aguilera, Sia, Diane Warren, Todrick Hall and Jess Folley.

Nick Winston is the Director and Choreographer. Soutra Gilmour is the Set Designer, Tom Curran is responsible for Musical Arrangements and Orchestrations, and Ryan Dawson Laight is Costume Designer. Phil Bateman is the Musical Supervisor, Chris Poon is the Musical Director and Robin Antin is the Creative Co-Producer/Associate Choreographer. Harry Blumenau is Casting Director, Sarah-Jane Price is Casting Associate and Lloyd Thomas is the Production Manager.

The show will star X Factor and Voice Kids UK winner Jess Folley as Ali, played by Christina Aguilera in the movie. Olivier Award-winner George Maguire (Death Note, Sunny Afternoon, Bonnie & Clyde) plays Vince. Billie-Kay (Anything Goes) plays Sophia and B Terry (Cabaret) is Georgie. The TikTok star and actor Jess Qualter plays Daphne and Yasmin Harrison (The Bodyguard) is Brenda/Dance Captain. Lily Wang (Moulin Rouge! The Musical) plays Fifi, Hollie-Ann Lowe (Dirty Dancing) is Summer and Alessia McDermott (Back to the Future) is a member of the Ensemble.

Tess Scali, who was played by Cher in the film, will be played by an actor who’ll be confirmed in early February 2024, along with the remainder of the cast.
